Redstar's life pursuit for the past 32 years has been the study and practice of healing work, massage modalities and consciousness development. The journey has taken her all the way from Chicago to the Philippines to Hawaii, and most recently Whitefish, Montana, where she currently practices her healing massage and Thai massage, also known as Thai yoga.

Her formal training in Swedish and Deep Tissue massage began in 1975 at the Christos School of Natural Healing in Taos, New Mexico with William LeSassier. She has never stopped studying and growing her art. Redstar has received training in numerous healing and bodywork modalities, including but not limited to:
